Intersection closures for M-Openings to begin 10/21/25

Work on M-openings (concrete gutters crossing the road) at the following intersections will begin today, 10/21/25; this work was originally scheduled for tomorrow. These intersections will be closed later this morning and will remain closed for about a week. Barricades and signage will be posted. Intersections to be closed:

• Chewton, Clifton and Cranbrook Cross at Maple.

• Chewton Cross at Hamilton

• N. Clifton at Clifton

• Morningview at Hamilton

• Glengarry at Cranbrook Cross (on the north side of the intersection)

While the 7 intersections are closed starting Tuesday 10/21, use the following detour routes:

Cranbrook Cross — traffic headed west can access Maple from Hamilton, Williamsbury or Glengarry. Traffic on Maple can turn into one of those streets and go one block north to get to Cranbrook Cross.

For Clifton Road — head north to Morningview, turn left over to Overhill.

For Morningview — head west to Overhill.

For Chewton Road — go north to Chewton Cross, turn left, then right on N. Clifton to Morningview. Go left on Morningview to Overhill.

For Chewton Cross, go west to N. Clifton, turn right to Morningview. Go left on Morningview to Overhill.

Glengarry — for the south block, the Maple intersection is open or take Cranbrook Cross east to Bradway. For the north block, head north to Bradway.
