Construction Update — Yellow Section 7/9/25

Construction update from RCOC

For the remainder of this week and the week of 7/14/25, Mike’s Landscaping will continue sprinkler relocations and begin removals of brick pavers and other decorative materials from driveway and service walk areas that will be impacted by the construction. See further discussion of removal/reinstatement of decorative materials HERE.

Springline will begin saw-cutting along the edges of the streets in the Yellow section. This process allows cleaner removal of existing asphalt and curbs when excavation begins.

Looking ahead

Cadillac plans to begin excavation for curb/driveway approach removal in the Yellow section the week of July 21.

Construction sequencing in the Yellow section

Cadillac has provided the map below which depicts the general sequence in which Yellow section construction will be done. The contractors will address one side of the road through installation of curbs, then flip to the other side of the street for the same series of steps to install curb on the opposite side. This will be the case throughout the Yellow section except for the cul-de-sacs off Sandringham (Twin Maples, Aberdovey, Courtleigh, Hemsworth). To minimize disruption to the residents and facilitate a more efficient construction process, both sides of the street will be done at the same time on these 4 cul-de-sacs.

Tentative construction sequencing for the Yellow section will be:

  1. Orange on the map below (Glengarry Circle East and Glengarry between the north and south intersections with Glengarry Circle);

  2. Green on the map (small segment of Indian Mound Road entering the Indian Mound area from E Glengarry Circle);

  3. Yellow on the map (Indian Mound area — the specific sequence in which the streets in this area will be addressed is not yet determined);

  4. Pink on the map (Glengarry north of the Circle and Sandringham);

  5. Blue on the map (cul-de-sacs off Sandringham).
