Road closures as of 10/21/26
Bradway is closed to through traffic and will remain closed until it is paved. Unless you live on Bradway, please take a different route.
On Thursday 10/22 and Friday 10/23, Allied will have two mills working side by side, starting around Overhill and moving slowly toward Cranbrook. The entire width of Bradway will be blocked as the mills move east. The equipment will NOT be able to move aside to let traffic through. Please find an alternate route. If you live on Bradway, park outside of the construction zone before the workday begins.
The intersection of Bradway and Lahser is closed and will remain so until Bradway is paved. There is a small ramp and narrow lane for emergency vehicles and to allow Bradway residents to get to the west end of Bradway. This is not intended to invite any other traffic on Bradway. If you don’t live on Bradway, avoid this area.
The intersections of Bradway with the cross streets are closed and will remain closed until the street is paved. There are no ramps from the side streets to the subgrade on Bradway and the drop is significant in most places. Please don’t move the barricades and attempt to turn onto or cross Bradway after it has been milled; doing so may cause significant damage to your vehicle that will be your responsibility to fix. Leave the barricades in place so the next person doesn’t make the same mistake. Residents who live on Bradway will need to enter Bradway at Cranbrook, Overhill or Lahser and proceed (slowly!) to their driveways.

Why are the side street intersections closed when it doesn’t look like there is construction around those intersections? Traffic on Bradway hinders the construction process and quite frankly, many drivers are in too much of a hurry to wait for safe passage or follow directions. Some have chosen to drive too close to the construction equipment or very close to the workers; others have driven through wet concrete, into stone piles, or into the trenches. RCOC made the decision to implement the closures to limit the traffic on the Bradway, for the safety of the construction crews and to allow Allied to work more efficiently.
