Schedule update from Cadillac
Thursday 11/13
Paving has been completed on Williamsbury. The road will reopen this afternoon
Paving on Glengarry Circle East is next this afternoon.
Paving on the 3 “eye-brows” around the islands in the Indian Mound area will be done last this afternoon.
Doan is doing concrete repairs in the Indian Mound area.
Mike’s Landscaping is laying sod in the Indian Mound area.
Friday 11/14
Asphalt base layer repairs in the Indian Mound area; asphalt has already been removed from these areas. Cadillac will pour a new base layer of asphalt (2 1/2 inches). This work will block the west entrance to Indian Mound for a couple of hours; traffic will need to use the east entrance during that time.
Paving on the 4 cul-de-sacs toward the afternoon — Twin Maples, Aberdovey, Courtleigh and Hemsworth. Front door notices have been posted. These streets will be closed to all traffic and parking for paving. Residents who need access to their vehicles will need to remove them from driveways/garages and park them elsewhere by mid-morning on Friday. Parking options: Glengarry, Glengarry Circle West and East, Ardmoor. Please don’t park on Sandringham on Friday - Cadillac will not be able to navigate the paver around parked cars.
Bloomfield Township has arranged with Priority Waste for garbage pick-up on the cul-de-sacs in the morning tomorrow, in advance of paving. Cans should be placed at the curb before 7 am. Everyone else in the Yellow section will have garbage pick-up Friday as normal. If your pick-up is missed, call Priority directly at 586-228-1200 or report through their on-line portal.
Doan will continue concrete repairs and should complete them by the end of the day.
Saturday 11/15
Paving on Sandringham in the afternoon. The road will be closed for all traffic and parking. Residents who need their vehicles should remove them from garages/driveways and park elsewhere by mid-morning. Parking options: Glengarry, Glengarry Circle or Ardmoor. Residents on the cul-de-sacs who need their vehicles will need to park elsewhere to avoid being blocked in.
Monday 11/17
Paving on Indian Mound Trail and the short spur at the west entrance to Indian Mound. These roads will be closed to all traffic and parking until the asphalt is sufficiently cooled. Indian Mound Trail residents who need access to their vehicles can park on Indian Mound East or West. Please only park on one side of the street.
Paving on N. Glengarry, which will be closed to all traffic and parking. Residents who need their vehicles should park elsewhere by mid-morning. Parking options: Glengarry Circle West, Glengarry closer to Bradway. Covington School. Fort Wayne will be doing structure adjustments on Monday - avoid parking where the pavement is marked with a circle with lines around it (see photo below).

Tuesday 11/18
Paving on remaining streets in Indian Mound area — Paving will start on Indian Mound South and move north up to Indian Mound West. The west entrance will be blocked until the asphalt is cooled sufficiently. If you will need access to your vehicle on Tuesday, please park elsewhere before 8 am. Parking options: Indian Mound Trail, Dorstone, Covington School, Glengarry Circle, Glengarry, Amberly.
Wednesday 11/19
Asphalt driveways — second and final layers.
Fort Wayne will be doing structure adjustments on Glengarry and the Indian Mounds. See discussion HERE.
Pavement markings where there are structures
The photo below shows the markings Fort Wayne will put on the pavement indicating a buried structure location. Please don’t park anywhere near these. Fort Wayne will need several pieces equipment to do the adjustments and place the concrete collars and won’t be able to complete their work if there are cars parked near the structures.
