Gold and Yellow Section Restoration and Punch List Work
The Road Commission and Cadillac have agreed on a schedule for completion of the remaining restoration work and “punch list” items in the Gold and Yellow sections. Key dates:
May 11 — Crews from Mike’s Landscaping will be back in the neighborhood doing sprinkler repairs, and restoring construction damaged areas with topsoil and sod. They anticipate restoration work continue for several weeks, until all areas can be addressed and repairs completed.
Cadillac and Doan will begin addressing punch list items by the week of May 11. This includes concrete items and some asphalt fixes that could not be completed in the fall.
June 12 — FINAL day for residents to report sprinkler damage and any other issues arising from construction. Cadillac and its subs are contractually obligated to complete restoration work by early July — we cannot reasonably hold them responsible for fixing damage/issues as required by their contract unless we inform them on a timely basis.
July — Contractual requirement for the construction team to complete restoration work.
Steps you should take now:
Schedule sprinkler activation as soon as possible. Have your sprinkler crew flag any broken heads, broken lines, leaks or other needed repairs.
Email Wayne Dabrowski and Mark Meszler to report needed irrigation system repairs, and any other damage caused by the road construction.
