Construction Update — Yellow Section 6/12/25

The Road Commission and Cadillac have informed us that construction work in the Yellow section will begin after the July 4 holiday. This will allow time for the excavation contractor, Springline, to complete excavation work in the Gold section before moving into the Yellow section. Previously, Springline had planned for a different crew to begin the work in Yellow; that crew has been delayed and is not able to start the Yellow section work at this point.

Pre-construction surveying work will continue until completed. Springline will be doing saw-cutting of driveways and the sides of the streets (in preparation curb and driveway approach removal) sporadically during this pre-construction period. Mike’s Landscaping will likely wait until after July 4 to start sprinkler work in the Yellow section.

The Springline crew in the Gold section is two weeks ahead of their original schedule, as they are drawing on their experience in the Pink section. The Road Commission and Cadillac have assured us that they will be able to complete the Yellow section work by November as required, even with construction beginning after July 4.
