Construction Update — Yellow Section 11/19/25
Construction update from Cadillac
Wednesday 11/19
Cadillac has paved the second layer of asphalt on the remainder of N. Glengarry, starting where they left off Monday, and moved to Indian Mound S and Indian Mound West. They will continue paving along the north side of the square, moving clockwise toward the Covington entrance. The west entrance off Glengarry Circle East has been opened for traffic.
Thursday 11/20
Cadillac will pick up paving where they left off on Wednesday, probably somewhere on the north side of the Indian Mound square. Indian Mound East, Indian Mound Road and the Covington entrance will be closed to all traffic and parking on Thursday for paving. Residents can park on Indian Mound West or Indian Mound South and use the Glengarry Circle East entrance to the area.
After paving is completed, Cadillac will shift to asphalt driveways, starting on Sandringham and the cul-de-sacs.
Fort Wayne will be adjusting structures (manholes) in the roadway on N. Glengarry.
They will remove asphalt that covers each structure, adjust the height to be flush with the pavement, and install a concrete collar around the structure.
This work will likely block the road where Fort Wayne is working. There will be flaggers to direct residents to detour around the work. Residents should avoid N. Glengarry, particularly the first block off Quarton, on Thursday. Detour on Sandringham instead.
Avoid parking on the street on N. Glengarry Thursday, to reduce congestion and stay out of Ft. Wayne’s way.
Mike’s Landscaping continues restoration work, including resetting bluestone front walks, topsoil and sod in remaining construction-damaged areas. Blue stone work should be completed this week; topsoil and sod will continue for several weeks.
Friday 11/21
Cadillac will continue pouring asphalt driveways until all are completed. They will be working in the Indian Mound area and finishing anything left from Sandringham and the cul-de-sacs.
Fort Wayne will be completing structure adjustments in the Indian Mound area, Sandringham and the cul-de-sacs. As indicated above, Fort Wayne may block the road during this work and require traffic to detour around it. Please refrain from parking in the street to allow Fort Wayne room to complete this process.
