Construction Update — Gold Section 11/12/25
Schedule updates from Cadillac
**** All planned work is weather permitting ****
Thursday 11/13
Paving on Williamsbury has been rescheduled to Thursday 11/13 (previously scheduled for Friday 11/14. The schedule change is necessitated by a change in the paving plan in the Yellow section.) The road will be closed to all traffic and parking. Residents should plan to remove vehicles from garages/driveways by 7 am Thursday and park on Glengarry, Hamilton or Williamsbury north of Bradway. Please do not park on Cranbrook Cross or Bradway near Williamsbury as Cadillac will be staging asphalt trucks in these areas.
Doan will be making concrete repairs Thursday, Friday and Saturday in both the Gold and Yellow sections. They will be repairing areas damaged by the mill or pavers, and also a spot on Cranbrook Cross near Glengarry where DTE dropped a utility pole on the curb.
Friday 11/14
Fort Wayne will be adjusting manholes in the streets on all streets except Cranbrook Cross. These have been covered with asphalt during paving. Fort Wayne will remove the asphalt covering, raise the structure to be level with the pavement, and install a concrete collar. The concrete will need to cure for several days and will be coned off. This work may block the street for several hours, and traffic may need to detour. You will want to allow a little extra time to navigate our newly paved roads while this work is going on.
Saturday 11/15
Paving on Cranbrook Cross. Cadillac will be starting the day in the Indian Mound area, then moving to Cranbrook Cross. The road will be closed to all traffic and parking for paving. Residents who need access to their vehicles on paving day should park on Hamilton, Williamsbury, Glengarry or Chewton. The road should re-open by the end of the day.
Week of 11/17
Fort Wayne will adjust structures on Cranbrook Cross. This work is scheduled for Monday but may adjust to a different day.
Mike’s Landscaping will be doing landscape repairs (sprinklers, topsoil, sod, and outstanding front walks, etc.).
