Gold Section Paving Update - 11/7/25

Schedule update from Cadillac

• Tomorrow’s weather forecast looks clear for paving on Glengarry, Hamilton, Chewton and Clifton, in that order. The crew will be bringing a vac-truck today to remove water and leaves from the streets to prep them for tomorrow’s final layer of asphalt. They will clear leaves and any residual water again tomorrow (as needed) before the asphalt is laid. The pavers will begin laying asphalt as soon as the streets are cleared and temperatures have risen to an acceptable level. Because of the later start, it is possible the crew will not get to Clifton. In that case, Clifton will be paved next Wednesday (11/12)

• Paving on Williamsbury, Morningview, Chewton Cross and N. Clifton (and Clifton if not done Saturday 11/8) has been rescheduled for Wednesday 11/12. The weather forecast for Monday is too cold for paving.
