Next week
Springline will install edge drain in the prepared trenches in the Indian Mound area (yellow on the map below).
Springline will start curb/driveway approach removals on the north part of Glengarry (west side of street) and on the east side of Sandringham (blue area on the map below).
Looking ahead
Concrete curb work will begin in the Yellow section on Monday August 11, with curbs to be laid in the orange area, then the green, then in the Indian Mound area, following the order laid out in last week’s blog post HERE. When the curbing process begins, impacted residents will not have access to their driveways for about 14 days. See discussion of the curbing process and related parking/driveway access limitations HERE. More information on curbing and suggested parking options will be provided in next week’s construction update.
Planned order in Indian Mound area: Following red arrows first, then purple arrows (starting at Covington), then gray arrows.
Parking during construction
Please avoid parking during the workday on any street where there is active construction activity. There just isn’t enough room on our narrow streets. After hours, vehicles can be parked on the street but need to be removed before construction starts the following morning at 7 am. Please make sure to lock your vehicle and take the key fob with you.
Contacts during construction
Questions or concerns arising during construction should be addressed to Wayne Dabrowski, Project Engineer for RCOC, with a copy to Mark Meszler, Bloomfield Township representative for the project. Please provide your address and contact information in your email.
