Construction Update for Yellow and Gold Sections - 1/6/2026
Structure work beginning 1/6/26
This week, ART will begin lining the structures (manholes) located in the streets in the Yellow and Gold sections. ART crews will start on Sandringham and the cul-de-sacs, work through the Yellow section, then move to the Gold section, so long as the weather cooperates. Depending on the location of the structures within the roadway, this work may temporarily block the street, requiring drivers to detour around the blockage.
ART plans to line structures located in the curb/gutter in the spring. This work could be accelerated to the winter months if there is a sufficient period of dry weather.
Restoration work
Mike’s Landscaping will be back in the spring to complete sprinkler repairs, topsoil and sod in the areas that could not be completed before the snow buried them. The vast majority of remaining restoration work is in the Yellow section, although there are a handful of small spots in Gold that still need sodding. In general, Mike’s will be back in the neighborhood when they can reliably source the topsoil and sod needed to complete restoration work, likely not until late April.
If there is sufficient thawing that exposes areas that present a trip hazard, please contact Wayne Dabrowski at wdabrowski@rcoc.org.
