Allied will move forward with the first layer of asphalt on Bradway and Cranbrook Cross today (Monday November 2); they play to pave the second and final layer tomorrow (Tuesday November 3). There is some rain in the forecast that could cause a delay in the schedule. Thursday November 5 is the back-up day for laying the second and final layer. The final, top layer of asphalt will be placed on Overhill after Bradway is topped on Tuesday (or Thursday if needed).
Bradway will be paved starting at Cranbrook and moving west. Asphalt trucks will come in through Overhill and stage on Bradway to pave east of Overhill. Trucks will come in from Lahser to supply the paver on the west end Bradway.
Bradway is completely closed to all traffic and parking today and tomorrow. No parking on Overhill today as the asphalt trucks will be using that street to bring in material. Overhill residents will have driveway access, but may experience delays due to asphalt truck traffic. On Tuesday, Overhill will be closed to all traffic and parking for paving.
